Roamings and Yawning Gulf
Sussex (UK) dwellers Jack Ryder 'Yawning Gulf' and Andy Abbott 'Roamings' have been busying themselves of late. As if recording an album of beautifully atmospheric instrumental music together wasn't enough (or 'patient and unique sound-scapes' as they aptly describe it), they've also set up their own label, Cycle Records. Keep an eye out for some limited vinyl runs coming soon from these guys - having seen and heard some of their previous work, I think we're in for a real treat.
Here's a neat video they put together for a track from their forthcoming longplayer. I give you Roamings and Yawning Gulf, 'Pale Blue Dot'...

Morning Glory 3rd March 2013
This week's Morning Glory treks through synth sound sculptures from Panabrite, modern classical piano work from Deaf Center and Nils Frahm, plus skewed beats from the excellent new Lapalux lp.

John Foxx And The Maths 'Evidence'
John Foxx And The Maths fruitful collaboration reaches dizzying heights on their superb new lp, 'Evidence'. This, the closing track, is one of the most beautiful pieces of synth-based music I've heard in a long while. More info over at johnfoxxandthemaths.com
